How to Play Mahjong Cards

Your goal in Mahjong cards should be to eliminate every pair before time expires. In order to form pairs, cards of equal value and suit must come together (e.g. two Kings of Spades). Unprotected and open sides allow players to choose "free" cards that do not pose too many restrictions and possible combinations are more easily found than protected edges.

Strategy Tips

While card faces can assist with identification of possible matches, there remains more involved strategy at play here than meets the eye. With multiple identical pairs lying across a table, choosing which pairs to take out could disrupt other pairs if removed too soon - so take care to remove your entire table before selecting matches to take out!
