Gameplay

As the Relic Hunter, your goal is to explore and combat every corner of the Emerald Spire in search of fame and fortune - fighting Guardian bosses guarding each area before summitting it all and seizing control of its precious Emerald Heart! However, this Spire can be both dangerous and captivating - every time you step inside it's an experience all its own - its layout changes constantly with rooms, monsters, treasures, and bosses being randomly generated, making each climb truly exciting and unique! Every Run will begin from scratch, using only basic weapons and your brainpower as you eliminate monster-filled rooms to reveal new experiences, equipment, and powerful abilities. As each monster-free room passes, you'll uncover more treasure - such as new experiences, equipment, or unique skills! Goal of this game: Combine random rewards into powerful synergistic structures. However, be warned: should you become injured during battle, the game is over, and you will be returned to the campsite at the lower reaches of Spirethe, allowing another attempt using all that information that was gained during the previous climb.

How to Play

A key principle that all successful Relic Hunters understand is that each Run is its own Legend. Don't rely solely on one method for success - instead, be flexible, innovative, and creative in approaching each run. Run with random power and weapons from the Spire given out every Run! While your strategy might appear complex at first glance, playing is swift, fluid, and easy enough for anyone to manage! Controls have been designed for an exciting dungeon-crawling game: fast and exciting gameplay is guaranteed!

Use WASD and the Arrow keys to move around the room.
Use your mouse to coordinate and tailor your attack and capabilities.
Right-click to launch or attack with your primary weapon or attack strategy.

- On the Sapphire Path: Amass Sapphire gems to become an unstoppable master of ice! Discover capabilities such as blocking enemies with each hit, building frost layers, and unleashing devastating shards of ice - not forgetting unlocking "Blizzard" synergies which allow for dodge rolls that create large swirling vortexes of frost that freeze every enemy that appears! Base Camp: Losing isn't the end of it all; defeat is an invaluable learning opportunity! Any Emerald Shards collected on runs are permanent upgrades in Base Camp that can be returned for crafting by its mysterious craftsmen to build strength for all future climbs. In addition, different adventurer types, such as quick but vulnerable Rogue or slow but strong Knight, can begin using specific equipment at different starting positions on runs; also, pay the former wizard in camp to add powerful permanent capabilities that'll add excitement and adventure to each Run! Pay former Wizard Camp to add new, stronger, rare capabilities so your runs become even more thrilling!
