Gameplay

As Kitten Commando, your mission is to lead your feline defense force to glory! Your primary responsibility lies with protecting the Cardboard Box Fort from being invaded. Every level will see waves of unruly yet determined foes march in from different directions, so your kitten defenders must strategically place themselves to block these enemies before their path leads anywhere! Your goal in Fort Defense: Beat the Waves is straightforward and uncomplicated - beat back the waves and secure your fort! This classic tower defense game provides endless hours of entertainment. Each level begins with a small amount of "Catnip", the in-game currency. As enemies fall to you and drop more Catnip into play, more Catnip can then be used to purchase kitten protectors or improve existing ones in battle - with each victory awarded with more "Golden Fish Tokens", an unchangeable currency which you can then use at base operations unlock new breeds of kitten warriors or find powerful upgrades allowing for game changing victories to play out against!

How to Play

A key to leading your pet army towards victory is creating the purr-fect strategy! In this game, success requires placing each kitten at their position at just the right moment - whether this means rapid-fire damage or lessening adversary numbers. Each kitten class has specific tasks they should fulfill - yet controlling your cat army with simple controls makes strategic thinking achievable with ease!

Click/tap and drag your kitten warrior from the command bar on the lower-right side of your display screen.
Drop off your kitten at any designated points along the path.
This means your kitten will immediately begin attacking any enemies within its reach.
As soon as you earn Catnip, select a kitten to discover its upgrade path and use Catnip to improve strength, speed, and more powerful performance during battle!

Unlockable Content and Skills

Welcome to your chance of turning from an average commander into a master strategist on the battlefield! The game features many kitten classes, which you can unlock, and powerful permanent upgrades for research, providing endless strategic planning possibilities!

Form A Feline Army: With your golden fish tokens earned during gameplay, you will gain access to an assortment of incredible and amusing kitten classes! Unlock one called Cat-apult that launches powerful long range furballs at multiple enemies simultaneously for splash destruction in groups or train "Fur-ost Mage", an ethereal Siamese cat casting Ice spells which drastically slow powerful opponents down; or study up on "Fur-ost Mage's Ice spells that significantly weaken even powerful opponents!; or maybe unlock "Boxer Cat," tough Persian with cardboard tanks built-in can thwart enemies on their journey; "Ninja Kitten," who throw bone fragments lightning fast while disarm armor!
Find Powerful Permanent Upgrades: Your base camp is an expansive cat tree that serves as your permanent skill tree! In between levels, use Golden Fish Tokens to research powerful passive upgrades that will impact all army members. For instance, "Advanced Catnip Farming" so you start each stage right, while "Sharpened Claws" gives melee kittens an increased damage boost!
Meet Goofy Enemies: Your challenge never ceases as you battle ever-shifting and dangerous foes! Protect your castle against an assortment of Clockwork Mice and yarn Balls that become entangled together or Airplane teams floating away on paper Airplanes; at day's end, face against formidable household leaders like that horrible giant vacuum Cleaner to secure victory!
