Gameplay

As is customary with each new Pokémon adventure, your journey starts in peaceful Pallet Town. Professor Oak will give you your first Pokémon to train alongside your opponent on their journey towards becoming champions. But soon you will come to realize this Kanto is not what it once was; Team Rocket has grown into an intimidating and shadowy organization that now controls many cities, as well as manipulating powerful trainers into taking part in subversive schemes beyond simply taking Pokémon for themselves. Your goal as a young trainer is twofold: to travel throughout your region and challenge all eight Gym Leaders before entering the Pokémon League, but also fight Team Rocket as you uncover more sinister plots from within and take down activities on the outside; this story seamlessly incorporates traditional Pokémon catching, battling, and taking down into one engaging narrative experience!

How to Play

At its heart lies this new adventure; a familiar World requires dark stories. To win, you'll use traditional Pokémon strategies of team building and matchup recognition; however, in this new setting, there will be higher stakes and bigger obstacles! If you love classic Pokémon, controls are easy to learn, so you can focus on discovering fresh strategic possibilities. Your mental framework of controls may look something like this:
