Gameplay
Rocket Science Edition puts you in control of an unstable rocket's flight route and construction. Your primary aim is to construct one sturdy enough to complete its trip and safely land at its desired target, and complete levels by reaching specific objectives for flight that include reaching specific levels or launching onto moving platforms. As your skills advance and you unlock more complex parts for rocketry development, missions become harder!
How to Play
Success in this game depends heavily upon timing and control—its initial few stages aim at familiarising you with both controls, while teaching how to manage thrust and fuel without deviating too far off track.
Here is how you can fly:
- To activate your thrusters and get underway, press the button that says 'Thrusters on. Lift off!'
- Unleashing thrusters to allow gravity to take its course.
- Use WASD or the Arrow Keys to steer the rocket in its proper direction, then make sure it flies downhill!
To achieve maximum marks, you'll need to complete each mission as quickly as possible—leaving enough fuel behind to leave as few marks of disgrace as possible! To do this, you need to score big!

Once you master space travel, you'll unlock plenty of fantastic equipment! Think powerful spacecraft bodies, engines, special boosters, which will aid your missions on challenging missions, and exciting asteroid fields with fierce crosswinds or aliens who do not appreciate having you invade their airspace! This game keeps things interesting by throwing new challenges, such as dodging asteroid fields where powerful crosswinds blow and encounters with some aliens who do not appreciate you invading their airspace!
