Gameplay

As The Sprunkborn, you are alone of your species in this desperate fight against death on our dying world. A mysterious force known only as The Gloom has attacked this once beautiful land you once called home, taking away forests and slowing cities. As the sole member of this species, your mission will be to explore your gorgeous, corrupted country to battle shadowy forces while looking for ways to restore our world's "Heartlight", so the sun can return! Progression is the product of discovery. Our world is vast and interlinked; while exploring it, you will uncover and gain access to unique abilities you had not experienced before. For instance, dashing or climbing walls may be useful during combat, allowing access to previously inaccessible locations and uncovering hidden paths to go down.

How to Play

For this adventure, the principle behind it is finding light at the end of a tunnel. It is simple - looking forward will bring challenges, but you are stronger than any obstacle; you must persevere, apply skill, and use all available abilities effectively to overcome them! The game was intended to be challenging yet fair with precise, responsive controls that are simple enough for newcomers to pick up quickly.
